Adrian joined his first band, Hammonds Junior Band in 1975. He then joined Hammonds Hawley Band, followed by many years with The Hammonds Band. Whilst playing with The Hammonds band, they won The Grand Shield and came third at The British Open in 1989.
He had a sabbatical for 22 years, after which he joined Stourport-on-Severn Band, followed by The Shirley Band and few years at Langley Brass Band. Adrian took up the position of Solo Cornet with The Staffordshire Band in 2022 and is loving the band’s friendly and ambitious ethos.
