2nd Cornet

Joel has played for the band since 2012 as part of the back-row cornet team. He started playing French horn aged 7 with Birmingham Music Service, but after 6 months decided trumpet was much cooler!! Later he played with a couple of the Birmingham Music Service bands on Trumpet and Cornet.

Formed over 100 years ago, the band was originally named the Walsall Wood Institute Temperance Band and became The Staffordshire Band in 1998.
