The Staffordshire Band is a registered charity (Charity Number: 517799). Our main sources of income include: band member subscriptions, ticket sales at concerts and supporter donations.
Like any charitable organisation, donations of support allow us to continue our activities, such as; hosting concerts in our local community, travel to and participation at contests, the repair and maintenance of instruments, and the purchase of music and uniforms to name just a few.
The global covid pandemic had a huge negative impact on the arts industry as a whole. For the band, it meant we were unable to host concerts which resulted in our income being drastically reduced.
There are several ways in which you can help to support the ongoing activities of the band:
- A one off donation of an amount of your choice (using the blue ‘DONATE NOW’ button at the top of the page).
- Become a ‘Friend’ of the band (for a yearly subscription of £20.00 you will receive a copy of the band’s quarterly newsletter and X 1 free ticket to a Staffordshire Band concert of your choice. Go to CONTACT US to request to become a ‘Friend’ and a member of the management team will be in touch).
- Corporate sponsorship options. In the past, the band have enjoyed sponsorship from local companies such as, The Staffordshire Building Society, Highgate & Walsall Brewery and the CI Group. Sponsorship options are flexible and can be for an individual event or a longer term agreement.
