Simon comes from a musical community in North West UK and studied Band Musicianship at University of Salford. Professionally, he works as a Chief Digital Officer for the NHS.
As a tenor horn player, he has been part of winning bands at every level over the last 30 years. He has taken part in most of the major brass band competitions in the UK, in addition to participating in many tours and recordings for CD, TV and Film. Simon is also an experienced conductor and has directed bands in over 50 contests during the last 20 years, across all sections.
